About VossVind
It all started with a lofty idea in 2007. Five years later, our founder Thomas Hårklau opened the doors to Norway's first vertical wind tunnel – in Voss.
VossVind opened on April 28, 2012, with strong support from local investors, the municipal administration in Voss, cooperation with Innovation Norway and Vekselbanken, and Canica AS—one of the largest private investment companies in Norway.
Voss is already internationally renowned for offering a wide range of activities and extreme sports. Our wind tunnel is part of a larger plan – to make Voss the preferred destination for people seeking extreme nature and sports experiences.
